Hand Decorated Baker's Rack |

Our baker rack is not your typical backers rack. Styled like our quality bombe chests, this piece has
all the decorative ornamentation of heirloom furniture. The construction shows the middle to have a
slight curve outward giving the appearance of fullness to the middle.
The frame is given a rich vintage red finish that has ornate carvings placed along the top two drawers
filling the space, and also along the outer curve edge, on the sides of the drawers.
Genuine wicker panels are inlayed for the drawer front and then skillfully hand painted by Oriental artisans.
The bottom edging has a fancy hand worked metal ornamentation that curves out from the feet and forms
beautiful rolled curls attached to a floret in the center. The rack ,that is attached to the back,
extends up for two shelves to be decoratively displayed. The same curving loops that are on the bottom
edging are repeated on the side rack decoration. This piece is an excellent work of art as well as
a functional backer rack for your kitchen. |
