This is definitely a unique, distinct bottle chest. This piece has an original construction,
assembled to be as a bottle, and is an exclusive design.
The front has the two lengthwise cabinet doors that are curved to keep the shape of the bottle,
and open to reveal the inside that is filled with plenty of storage space for bottles.
The outside has a distinct festive mural that is skillfully hand painted. The mural is
flamboyant in character having a dramatic arrangement of forms. Wine bottles of different
styles scattered about alone with grapes, wine glasses and fruit all placed on a draping
cloth. These items are painted against a deep black background that has a vintage flair.
The top is bottle cap shaped, and is hand painted with a decorative vintage gold stripe and then
the upraised trimmed edges, are painted with a striking accent color. The base is also painted the
same way as the top and gives a balanced look to this dazzling sculpted art furniture. |
