Our grand father clock is also a beautiful piece of furniture. With the quality built frame and cabinet that also includes structural detail.
The top cabinet that houses the clock face appears to be setting upon a pedestal and is highly ornamented with a thick carved trim and high arch front.
The small door that opens to the clock is shaped to compliment the arch shape. The long graceful two tone front ripples and billows out toward the bottom.
The lighter color is hand painted with whimsical vine and floral motifs.
