This exquisite original grand father clock is highly decorated.
The center has a vase shaped glass cabinet with two shelves, a
curious way to display books or finery. Above and below the glass
cabinet is a thickly carved curved trimming and ornamental carved
leaves. The top has a high arch that also has the thick carved trim
to accent it. Beautiful hand painted floral bouquets adorn the front
and side panels of the lower cabinet, and a trailing floral motif follows the “s” shape curve alone the sides.
