This four panel screen is one of three in a matching set.
Each panel was hand painted together so the screen
appears as a whole canvas.
The deep dark black base is given an artistic leather-like crackle appearance in a rich golden brown hue.
The dramatic original finish is then embellished with an ornamental grid, that is framed with a stunning decorative brass engraving and framed again by decorative
nail heads.
The outer sides are also adorned with the same dazzling
nail heads. Then, over the etched bass, a handsome decorative leaf design is applied to each corner.
