Classic Antique finish Roll Top Desk |

This classic quaint roll top desk is uniquely constructed. The decorative legs are carved on the front to appear as an elongated leaf form, with the top of the leaf, being carved up over the top front and back. The bottom of the front drawer forms the decorative edging that is repeated on the sides. There are two smaller drawers, that set atop the front drawer, and finishes the base construction of the desk. The top appears to be a half cabinet set atop the base and has the classic roll front with an extended writing desk surface. The inside has arch carved openings and a small drawer to keep mail or other writing material, and above that, two more drawers that can be seen with the roll top down. The edges around the top and around the side middle have an ornate rope style trim that completes the decoration of our desk. The finish is given a rich hand painted vintage look. |
